My name is Caroline. I’m 37 years old and I had a stroke on 17th January 2020.

I suffered a major traumatic experience and I had no idea it was about to happen.

I have started this blog to share my story, experience & recovery. I hope to share this with people who have been through the same or similar to me, who may be able to relate to my experience. I also hope to share with people who may learn something from my story.

The 3 main types of stroke are: –

• Ischemic Stroke
• Hemorrhagic Stroke
• Transient Ischemic Attack (a warning or “mini stroke”

I suffered 2 transient ischemic attacks about an hour apart from each other before having an Ischemic stroke (loss of blood flow) about 4 hours after the first TIA.
